Gerald F. Engel

Age 55, passed away on November 12, 2016. Jerry was born March 4, 1961 at Scott Air Force Base, IL and was a lifelong resident of Lansing. He graduated from Waverly High School and was formerly employed at Franchino Mold & Engineering. Jerry loved the out-of-doors, hunting and his dog, Bud.

Jerry is predeceased by father, Juergen F. Engel, grandparents Friedrich and Elisabeth Engel of MI; grandparents Edwin and June Maine, aunt Sharon Thomure, and uncle Donald Maine, all of IL.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Edwina J. Engel, brother, David M. Engel, sister Erika K. Engel and nephew, Everett B. Engel. Aunts, uncles and cousins: Christina Engel, Peter Engel, Joe and Yvonne Engel (Alissa, Laura, Eric and families); Kathy Maine (Donald II, Andrew, Michael and families) of IL; Rosemary and Bill Wilsey (James, William and families) of IL; Judy and John Looney (Kathy, Scott and families) of KY.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw in Lansing.
