Lansing, Michigan
At age 91, our loving dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa went home to his Lord on December 11, 2018. Born December 3, 1927 in Wausau, WI, Jerry retired from the State of Michigan as an Administrative Law Judge. He was an active member of St. Gerard Church for 40 years. He was also a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Richard Council #788, and an active supporter of St. Vincent’s de Paul.
Jerry was an intelligent, determined and caring man, always expecting the best from those close to him. His greatest love was his wife and family. He enjoyed traveling, bowling and playing cards. In his later years, he and his wife, Lucina, loved to spend the colder months in Gulf Shores, AL. He brought laughter to those who knew him with his unique sense of humor.
Surviving are his 7 children, Joan (James) Rowland, Linda Demorest, Kathryn Haves, Mary (John) Demorest, Thomas (Robin) Richardson, William (Cynthia) Richardson, and Michele O’Neil; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; plus many other extended family members and friends.
