

Gloria Gail Luce passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born on October 13, 1934 as the youngest of three girls born to Alfred and Leona Lee of Holt. Gloria was married to Philip Thomas Luce on October 17, 1952. They were happily married for 65 years. She spent many years serving friends and neighbors as the Avon Lady while raising her four beautiful children. She was very involved in their lives and school as Room Mother and Girl Scout Leader. When Gloria retired as the Personnel Staffing Specialist for the Headquarters of the Michigan Air National Guard after 20 years, she was highly regarded by all who worked with her. She enjoyed square dancing, bowling, card club, bingo, mushrooming, fishing, camping, traveling, cooking, baking, reading and quilting. Gloria loved spending time with her family, especially all of her 29 grand and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Robert Luce; granddaughter, Jessica Luce; and sister, Nadine Thomas. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Phil; her children, Philip Lee (Kathy) Luce, Karen (Ricky) Chism, Bryan (Eva) Luce; grandchildren Jason (Carrie) Luce, Crystal (Jason) Stanley, Johnathon Counseller, Angela (Mike) Williams, Michael (Erica) Luce, Chad Chism, Heather (Doug) Chism-Burke, Taylor (Ross) Luce-Drescher, Hannah Luce, Cooper Scott Luce; her sister, Barbara Fausett; as well as 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E Michigan Avenue, Lansing Michigan 48912 at 3:00P.M. with visitation from 1:00P.M. to 3:00P.M. for the general public at the funeral home.
