

Gregory lived a life full of passion, purpose, and hard work. A dedicated welder and proud business owner, he built not only a thriving career but also a life rooted in craftsmanship, commitment, and integrity. Known for his strong work ethic, Gregory took immense pride in every project he tackled, from the shop floor to the grill.
When he wasn’t working, Gregory found joy in the great outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. He loved casting a line on quiet mornings on his boat. A passionate traveler, he enjoyed exploring new places and creating memories with those he loved.
Gregory was also a master of the BBQ and a skilled home cook who delighted in preparing meals for family and friends. Whether it was a backyard gathering or a casual evening with those closest to him, he brought people together with his warmth, humor, and irresistible cooking.
Above all, Gregory will be remembered for his generosity, loyalty, and unwavering love for his family and community. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the stories he shared, and the countless meals, laughs, and adventures that made his time with us so meaningful.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carol and Rich Pryer, and siblings Tim and Regina Pryer. Gregory is survived by his siblings Rich and Matt Pryer, children John Pryer and Katrina Shipley, grandchildren Jenna, Kason, Natalie, and Jackson, and nieces and nephews, Anthony, Ethan, Ian, and Aaron Pryer, and Sephine Arriaga.
A celebration of Gregory's life will be held on July 20, 2025, between the hours of 12-3 pm at Grand Woods Park, Lansing, MI 48906
