Strong in spirit, devoted to family, and a lover of the outdoors, Heather was set free from her struggle with breast cancer on May 18, 2008. A proud graduate of MSU and employee of MDOT, she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and vacationing in northern Michigan. Heather is survived by her husband of ten years, Troy; her children, Alexandria "Lexi" (6), and Cooper (3); step-son, Tyler (14); parents, Gary and Diana Catlin; sister, Kristen (Matt) LeBaron; father-and mother-in-law, Ron and Carol Hicks, brother-in-law, Barry (Rebecca) Hicks; and numerous members of her extended family. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday with services 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 22, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Pastor Gary A. Bunge officiating. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Thursday before the service. Heather will be laid to rest where she is most at peace, in Mackinaw City, at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Lakeview Cemetery.
