Ivan H Bellon

Ivan H. Bellon was born on November 1, 1927, to August and Elma (Bjelland) Bellon in Lehr, North Dakota and died on August 18, 2012, in Lansing, MI at the age of 84. Mr. Bellon was a production worker at the Wohlert Corporation and retired from there. He was a graduate of J.W. Sexton High School. Ivan enjoyed going up north and loved to fish there. He is preceded in death by 2 sons, Gary and Kenneth. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Luella, son Gerald (Renee) Bellon; daughter Margo (Jay) Strong; grandchildren, Tara, Jerry and Jimi Bellon, Nick and Anna Strong; great grandchild, Samaira McDuffie; brother Rolland Bellon and sister, Avis Shroyer. Funeral services will be held at the Faith United Methodist Church, 4301 S. Waverly Rd., Lansing, on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 2:00pm with Rev. Russell McReynolds officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Contributions in Mr. Bellon’s name may be made to the Faith United Methodist Church or to the American Lung Association, 403 Seymour Ave., Lansing, MI 48922-1179.
