Age 59 born May 9, 1952, passed away June 20, 2011. Jack was a resident of Mulliken (AIS) Home, a home he dearly loved. He enjoyed music, a faithful spectator of all sporting events and loved people. Survivors are his mother; Shirley, brother; James and sister-in-law; Mary. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Shafer. There will be no services. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. In memory of Jack contributions may be made to Mulliken Home, P.O. Box 245, Mulliken, MI 48861 to benefit his family of friends at that home. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Sparrow hospital and the caregivers at the Home for their excellent care and for sharing his love.
