James David Dickerson

James David Dickerson, age 73, passed away in Lansing, MI May 24, 2025. He was born April 6, 1952, in Lansing to Grover and Charlotte (Mitchell) Dickerson. He graduated from Lansing Eastern High School, class of 1970. Jim retired from General Motors after 36 years of service. He most recently held a position at the St. Lawrence Hospital. Here he formed countless friendships and loving relationships with his colleges. He loved to bowl, participating in many Lansing area leagues over the years. He had a talent for photography; enjoyed fishing and watching Michigan State athletics.

Jim is survived by his wife, Diane (Epple); children Eric (Holly), Cheryl (Quincy), Dustin (Tiffany) and Landon; stepchildren, Jackie (Randy) Epple, Mark (Alysse) Crum and Paul (Tarryn) Crum; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and sisters, Sandra Coppersmith and Patricia (Ron) Schopp.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of James' mother, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association at Alz.org.

Dad was a GREAT GUY and he will be missed by all who knew him.
