James "Jim" Edward Trumbell of Lansing, Michigan passed away on September 14, 2025 at the age of 86. Born on October 28, 1938 in Beulah, Michigan, to Albert and Priscilla Trumbell. Jim grew up in Munising, Michigan. He retired from the federal government in 1995 after 31 years of service.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Carole; daughter Lisa Trumbell; son, Jon (Marcia) Trumbell; siblings Connie Doucette, Frank (Betsy) Trumbell, Karen Mikulich, Sharon (George) Williams, Les (Bonnie) Trumbell and many loving brothers-and-sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Priscilla Trumbell, twin brother Jack Trumbell and son Jeff Trumbell.
A memorial service will be held at the Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel 3232 W. Saginaw St. Lansing, MI 48917, on September 24, 2025 at 11 AM, with visitation starting one hour prior. A luncheon will immediately follow at Tony M's Restaurant & Banquet Center on 3420 S Creyts Rd, Lansing, MI 48917.
