Jane Fabiano

of Lansing, MichiganAge 90, our loving mother, grandmother, and ?grandma the great?, went home to join her husband and family with our Lord, December 3, 2007. Her legacy to her family is her love for them and the art of candy and ice cream making. Daily she oversaw the candy making in the kitchen at Ghinelli?s Homemake Candies in Williamston, MI. She was born July 28, 1917 in Tecumseh, Michigan. She married Michael P. Fabiano on April 28, 1935. Jane was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, Retail Confectioners International, Italian-American Club (O.S.I.A.), and the Santo ?Ippolito Society. She was an avid men?s Spartan Basketball fan. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Madeline Blair, Kathleen (Richard) Ghinelli and Linda Fabiano; sons, James C. (Mary Ann) Fabiano and Charles G. Fabiano; 12 grandchildren, Jane (Jerry) Turner, Michael (Sharon) Fabiano, Jo Ann (Bill) Backus, John M. (Jolyn) Blair, Steven (Kim) Blair, Daniel Blair, Katie (Kevin) Personious, Paul Ghinelli, Joseph Ghinelli, Gina (Brian) Mulcahy, Richard (Laura) Ghinelli, Brian P. Fabiano; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Virginia Bonfiglio, Esther Young and many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death were her husband Michael P. in 1999, son-in-law John C. Blair, Jr. in 2007, four sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be from 2-4 P.M. Tuesday in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, and from 6-8:30 P.M. at St. Casimir Church with a 8:00 P.M. Tuesday Vigil Service. Funeral Liturgy will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, December 5, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 810 Sparrow Ave. Lansing, with Fr. Bill Lugger presiding. Viewing will be from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at church. Rite of committal Deepdale Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff at Ingham Regional Medical Center, 2 South East, St. Lawrence Hospice House and Father Bill Lugger.
