

Janice Ann Humphrey (Waidelich), from Lansing, MI, passed away peacefully on her 81st birthday, November 27, 2024. Born in Lansing on November 27, 1943, Janice was the beloved daughter of Angela and Alva Waidelich. She graduated from J.W. Sexton High School in 1961, embarking on a life marked by dedication and warmth.
Janice devoted her career to McLaren Hospital, where she worked diligently in Patient Accounts. Her colleagues and friends remember her as a friendly and loving individual, known for her good moral standing and selfless nature. Janice's passions included shopping and traveling, pursuits that brought her joy and enriched her life experiences.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joyce M. Bennett.
Janice leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, survived by her son, Gregory S. Humphrey, former wife Heather L. Humphrey, and her granddaughter, Emily L. Humphrey, both of Lansing, MI. Her brother, David A. Waidelich, along with his wife Shelly Cody from WY. Janice's extended family includes Robin Hooks of Lansing, MI, Julie Meyerle of Venice, FL, Andy Delanghe of WY, Madison Waidelich of WY, and Greg, Michael, and Tim Comer.
Janice was a dependable and loving presence in the lives of those who knew her, embodying the virtues of compassion and selflessness. In accordance with her wishes, no funeral services will be held at this time. Her family and friends will remember her fondly, cherishing the memories of a life well-lived and a heart that touched many.
