Jean C. Myers

Born December 15, 1925 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of the late Virgil Mann and Gladys Hunter-Mann, passed away April 19, 2013 at the age of 87. She is survived by her son, Glenn (Deanne) Sebolt; three Daughters, Shelley Sebolt, Carol (Daniel) Mosqueda, and Rebecca (Timothy) Carrick; as well as 2 granddaughters, Kari and Rayne. Jean retired from Capital Area Community Services after 40 years of service where she worked within the Senior Aide Program. She began her career at Capital Area Community Services working with the Head Start Program which she thoroughly enjoyed. Jean was a person who never gave up on anything no matter the complexity and succeeded in most every endeavor she undertook. She had a deep commitment and love for life, family, friends as well as gardening, flowers, arts and crafts and rescue animals for which she enthusiastically spared no expense or love for. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
