Jimmy Johnson

Our beloved son, brother and uncle passed into eternal rest with his Lord and savior on June 27, 2012 at the age of 53. Jimmy was born June 9, 1959 in Lansing, the son of James Johnson and Edith (Guthrie) Daggett. He was a devoted follower of his Lord Jesus Christ and loved sharing the gospel with everyone that he met. He was an all around handyman, “jack of all trades”, who could repair just about anything. Jimmy loved spending time with his family and friends and will be remembered as a jokester who loved teasing his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed playing pool, Lugnuts baseball games and playing his harmonica. Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving parents, James Johnson and Edith (Don) Daggett; brother, Bruce Johnson; sister, Brenda Parker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. For those desiring contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Trauma Center, 800 S.
