Age 77, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was called unexpectedly home to be with her Lord on July 3, 2016. Born March 21, 1939 in Pellston, MI the daughter of Floyd & Opal Boda. Joan was a graduate of St. Mary's High School. She was a member of St. Therese Church, and worked in the church's food pantry. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, gardening, M.S.U. sports, and volunteered for over 20 years at Sparrow Hospital, and delivered Meals on Wheels. Most of all she loved attending her grandkids activities.
Surviving are her four children, Lawrence (Shelly) Pricco, Nancy Mena, Steven (Kristen) Pricco, and Mark (Colleen) Pricco; nine grandchildren, Ryan (Sara) Pricco, Jessica (Chad) Waldher, Evan Pricco, Jason Thornsbury, Virginia (Cody Dunn) Ashley, Kyle Mena, McKenzie Pricco, Hannah Pricco, and Gabrielle Pricco; four great-grandchildren, Anthony and Lillie Pricco, and Jayla and Jedediah Dunn; and many other family members and friends. Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Richard "Dick" Pricco, parents, and brothers, Jerry and John Boda.
Visitation is from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday with a 7:00 P.M. Thursday Vigil Rosary in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Funeral Liturgy is 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 8, 2016, at St. Therese Church, 102 W. Randolph, Lansing with Fr. David Fons presiding. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Friday at church. Interment will be later at St. Joseph Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Therese Church in memory of Joan. Friends may visit the guest book at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com.
