He retired after 41 years of faithful service from the Ford Motor Company. John was a very gentle man, he never gave up, had a lot of faith and a great sense of humor. He loved gardening ever since he was a young man. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Renelda U. (Moore) Marx; daughters, Judith Ann Creager and Kathleen Marie (Ronald) Nagy; grandchildren, Carol Ann (James) Alber, Nicholas Ian Creager, John Paul (Brandan) Marx, Karen Michelle (Josiah) Bildner, Scott Robert (Cheri) Nagy, Kevin Ronald Nagy; great-grandchildren, Sydney Renee, Caleb Nicholas, Kylie Flora, Kathryn Joann; brothers and sisters, Sylvia M. Marx, SSJ, Gertrude Schulte, Joseph (Norma) Marx, Edward (Jean) Marx, William (Evelyn) Marx and sister-in-law, Jeanette Marx. Preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Mary Catherine Marx, SSJ, Anna Owen, Robert Marx, Sylvia Marvel, and sister-in-law, Rose Marx. Visitation will be 4-8PM Friday, March 16, 2007 with a 7:00PM Rosary at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw Hwy, Lansing. The Funeral Liturgy will be 11:00AM Saturday, March 17, 2007 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow Hwy, Lansing with Father John P. Klein, officiating. The Rite of Committal is Monday, March 19, 2007 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
