Age 95, passed away on November 14, 2015 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born on September 16, 1920 in Elk Rapids, Michigan to Jesse and Hazel (Winters) Roberts. She loved gardening, cooking and travelling with her Airstream Camper. Her family and faith were very important to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Ralph W. Smith, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughter Jan Lopez, son Thomas (special friend Cindy Smith) Smith, grandchildren Amber (Aaron) Moerland, Jessica Lopez, Eric Lopez, Ryan (Amanda Hanson) Smith, Tyler (Danielle Bloomfield) Smith, and Shawna (Justen) Ripley, great grandchildren, Irie Moerland, Kiera Gostnell, Madilyn Smith, Mara Smith, Savannah, Brooklyn, and Boston Smith, Layla, and Liam Ripley.

Visitation is from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 with a 7:00 P.M. Vigil Service in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Funeral Liturgy is 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. John P. Klein presiding. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at church.
