Joy Lynn Grubb, age 64, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024. She was born on August 16, 1960, in Lansing, Michigan to Robert and Lucille Grubb. She had a career at Meijer’s for over 20 years until she took an early retirement to help care for her family.
Joy is survived by her siblings, David Grubb, Rose Ewing, and Linda Knapp; nephews, Michael Wagoner, Joe Wagoner, and David Grubb; niece, Dana Case; great nephews, Chance, Keegan, and Ethan; uncle, Roy; aunts, Nancy, Margie, and Carol, and several other extended family members.
Joy enjoyed watching sporting events on television. Her favorite teams were the MSU Spartans, Detroit Tigers, Washington Commanders, New York Nicks, and the Boston Bruins. She also enjoyed watching drag racing on television. Joy was always ready to help family members. Joy also enjoyed horses and liked to watch them race.
In accordance with Joy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are currently planned.
