Karen in her youth enjoyed fishing. She also enjoyed crafting and doing gardening. Karen was a loving wife and mother, and cherished taking care of her family; she will be missed by all who loved her. Karen was preceded in death by her husband Donald Benoit, her parents Ken and Helen. Leaving to cherish her memory is her son William “Todd” (Jamie) Benoit, sisters Virginia (James) Gabel, Carly (Gary) Nelson, sister-in-law’s Janet (Mark) Gillotte, Janice (Tim) Curtis, Marsha Benoit, and many nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held Monday October 19, 2015 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River, East Lansing, Michigan 48823.
