Welsh, Karen (Polulak), born to Stephen and Mildred Polulak on July 31, 1961. Karen died after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer on November 27, 2023.

Karen is survived by her brothers, Glenn (Margaret), Stephen, Don (Lynn); several nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Joyce (Stephen) McCarthy. Karen’s great accomplishment was receiving her college degree at age of 51. Karen worked for the State of Michigan for 34 years and she planned on retiring in February.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mother Teresa House for the Care of the Terminally Ill, 308 N Walnut St., Lansing, MI 48933.
