Age 90, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away April 2, 2012. Born February 8, 1922 in Weekly County, Tennessee. Katie was a very giving person. She was always baking muffins and sharing them with family and friends. She enjoyed arts and crafts along with quilting and being active in the Cadgewith Farms community. She retired from Oldsmobile/G.M. Motor Plant after 28 years of service, and was member of the U.A.W. She was active at Asbury United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her son, Jerry D. Pierce; grandson, David (Susan) Pierce; granddaughter, Debra Sue (Steven) Mohr; 4 great-grandchildren, Rachel Pierce, Hannah Pierce, Cody A. Mohr, and Lyndsay Mohr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Carlton Morrison in 2006, and her brothers and sisters.

Visitation is from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday and from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Tuesday with the Funeral Services 11:00 A.m. Tuesday, April 10, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. with Pastor Martin DeBow of Asbury United Methodist Church officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
