Age 78, passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008. Born Dec. 1, 1930 in Marion, Michigan. Keith joined the U.S. Army Jan. 3, 1951 in Detroit. He became a Paratrooper and was assigned to the Company ?M? 503rd Airborne Regt. serving in Korea. Later he was employed at GM/Fisher-Body of Lansing for 42 years. He was a proud member of the Lansing Eagles #1039.
Keith is predeceased by his mother Helen Fuher. Surviving are his wife, Nancy J. Long; children and step-children, Brian (Durinda) Long, Christine Hixson, Richard (Giovanna) Hixson, and James (Morgan) Hixson; grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Summer, Joseph, and Emma Rose; great-grandson, Tyler; brother, Arley Krider; sister, Marion Lynde.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 30200 Telegraph Rd., Suite 105, Bingham Farms, MI 48025, or the Lansing Eagles #1039
