Age 86, our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle passed away December 28, 2017. Born December 4, 1931 in Ironton, Ohio the son of George R. and Flora M. Gilton. Kenneth was life member of the Iron Workers Local 25 of Detroit.
He played the trumpet, and also played in a band "Rhythm Airs". He was an Antique Dealer and liked collecting collectables and treasures.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Joyce A. Gilton; son, Kenneth L. Gilton; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin (Lindsay) Gilton, Virginia Gilton, and Colleen (Trent) Donaldson; great-granddaughter, Lucy Joy Gilton; 2 brothers, Keith Gilton and Malvern Gilton; and many other family members and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Wilma; and 4 brothers, George, Jim, Ray, and Bill.
A Private Family Service and Interment will be held. Contributions may be made to
the McLaren Home Hospice in memory of Kenneth.
