Born October 19, 1954 in Shelby Township, the daughter of the late Leroy and Alice (Harrison) Maxwell, passed away May 6, 2013 at the age of 58. Young children were the focus of Leigh Ann’s life. She directed child development centers since 1976 at many places including Michigan State University, Greenville, MI, Reno, NV, and for the past 12 years as Education Supervisor at Maple Hill Head Start in Lansing. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Benjamin Riddle and Isaac Riddle; and her brother, Kenneth Maxwell. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Central United Methodist Church, 215 N. Capitol, Lansing with the Rev. Jana Jirak officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
