Age 83, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at her home February 10, 2010 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Born January 7, 1927 in Jackson, MI the daughter of Frank & Blanche Korniski

Lucille was a printer at Speaker ? Hines & Thomas, before joining the Lansing State Journal and working in Proof reading and classifieds before retiring after 19 years of service. She loved gardening, and attending car shows with her husband, Gene.

She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and the women?s Guild; member of the Waverly 39er?s.

Lucille was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert ?Jim? Ryan in 1986; step-son, Michael Blossey; sister, Wanda Taraschiewcz; 2 brothers, Joseph and Wentz Korniski.

Surviving are her husband of 8 years, Eugene Blossey; her 6 children, Peggy Limones, Daniel Ryan, Kathleen Ryan, Thomas (Celeste) Ryan, Cynthia (Terrance) Sherman, and Patrick Ryan; daughter-in-law, Jill Blossey; step-sons, Russell (Jeanne) Morrell, and William (Colleen) Blossey; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Anne Lindsey; 2 brothers, Stanley and Edward Korniski; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Miguel Villegas.

Visitation is from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Funeral Liturgy is 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 13, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 815 Sparrow Ave. Lansing with Fr. Fred Thelen presiding.

Viewing will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Saturday at church.
