Lyle Douglas Oversmith

of Lansing, MI.

Age 56, our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away March 6, 2018. Born April 11, 1961 in Lansing, Michigan. Lyle begin his career working with his family business, Adler's Flowers and Greenhouse at the Lansing City Market. He continued his career at Lansing Gardens, retired with over 20 years of service as Head Grower and Manager of the Greenhouse operations. Lyle had a passion for growing quality plants (flowers and vegetables) for the Lansing area.

Lyle is survived by 3 sons, Lyle Douglas Oversmith, Jr., Jeremy Oversmith, and Lance Tyler; 5 grandchildren, Zoey Oversmith, Patience Oversmith, Jordyn Oversmith, Peyton Foster, and Tristan Oversmith; step-mother, Delores Oversmith; 3 sisters, Blanche (Dean) Prince, Mary Korloy, and Ann Zemko; brother, Hughbert Oversmith; nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends. Lyle was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine (Pearson) Oversmith - Adler; step-father, Carrol Adler; and father, Hugh Oversmith; 2 sisters, Marilyn Oversmith, and Brenda Oversmith; brother, Joseph Zemko.

Memorial Services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Morley S. Oates V.F.W. Post #701 on 123 North Rosemary Street, Lansing, Michigan 48917. Pastro Sherman Criss will be officiating.
