“Louise” was raised by her maternal grandparents James and Florence Warren. She attended and graduated from Bell City High School 1967 in Bell City, Missouri. Louise worked as a housekeeper for the Holiday Inn for over 30 years in Lansing, Michigan. She was known for her soft voice, kindness, continuing with the family trait of cooking, and singing.
She bore four children: three sons Terri, Eric, Allen and one daughter Theresa Summerville all of Lansing, Michigan.
Louise attended and was a member of the Christ Temple Apostolic Church of Lansing, Michigan under the leadership of her uncle, Bishop William H. Warren.
This “WARRIOR” endured so much during her life’s journey without complaint she declared God’s greatness in living out his word according to II Timothy 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the FAITH.” On May 19, 2024, God in his infinite wisdom and divine power, whispered to his daughter, “COME HOME”. In accepting His call, she is reunited with her grandparents, parents, her sisters Betty and Gwendolyn, her brothers Gary, James Darnell, and Baby Boy. Her uncles Joseph Warren, James Calvin Warren, Bishop William H. Warren, and Aunt Ora Lee Hunt. Her cousins, Archie Robinson, Barbara Jean Hamilton, Elizabeth Ann Davis, and Tammy Jones.
Louise leaves to cherish her memories, five sisters Irene Armstrong, Melissa Warren, Loretta Armstrong, Arlene (Larry) Cooper of Muskegon, Michigan, and Patricia Warren of Dallas, Texas; two brothers James McMurray of Lansing, Michigan and Robert Armstrong Jr. of Muskegon, Michigan. Special aunts and uncles; Josephine Goynes, Patsy McKinney of Muskegon Michigan, Marvella Jones, Edward Warren, and Theodore Warren of Lansing, Michigan. Two Special Cousins, Lee Earl Warren and Shirley Pulliam who took on the care, concern, and the go between to assure proper care management until the moment she transitioned and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM, with visitation from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, at Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W Saginaw St., Lansing, MI.
