Marguerite M. Squires Beebe

Lansing, MI

Age 96, died February 4, 2012, at Grandhaven Living Center. Marguerite was born January 31, 1916 to George and Nellie Simmons Squires. Marguerite retired from General Motors, Oldsmobile Division with 27 years of service. In 1953 she married George L. Beebe and he preceded her in death in 1999. Marguerite was also preceded in death by her parents, brother Fred, sister, Dorothy and nephew, Fred. Marguerite loved to fish, cook and go for rides. She is survived by her sister, Beverly (Lavan) Wilson; step-son, Terry (Marge) Beebe; step-granddaughter, Theresa Sundeen; 3 nieces, Joyce Williams, Gloria Jean (Jorge) Mora and Sandra Ramsey; 4 nephews, Dennis (Linda) Squires, Douglas (Connie) Squires, Ronald Kissee and Randy (Tammy) Kissee. A very special thank you to Grandhaven Living Center employees and Hometown Hospice nurses. At Marguerites request she will be cremated and no visitation or Memorial service will be held. Donations may be made to Grandhaven Living Center, 3155 W. Mt. Hope, Lansing, MI 48910 or Hometown Hospice, 2681 Woodbridge Park Drive, Lapeer, MI 48446 in memory of Marguerite.
