Maria Estella Estrada

The daughter of Francisco Bueno and Trinidad Gamez , Maria was born November 11, 1925 in Mexico.

Maria loved the casino, Mexican bingo and Michigan State athletics. She liked her many travels to Mexico. She loved to sing and had many compliments from her neighbors about her talents and a love for birds. Maria loved her children, grandchildren, and her great grandchildren very much. She will be missed dearly.

Preceded in death by her husband, Elias Estrada Sr. (62 years of marriage), parents, Francisco & Trinidad Bueno; sisters, Rosa, Mary, Lorenza; brother, Ernesto; step-sister, Josephine; and grandson, Joey Stid. Maria is survived by her thirteen children, Juanita (Jerry) Meyer, Dolores (Ray) Frisbie, Elias (Mary) Estrada, Jr., Robert (Cathy) Estrada, Connie Estrada, Frank (Becky) Estrada, Richard (Jamie) Estrada, Maria (Richard) Copeland, Ernie (June) Estrada, David (Ruth) Estrada, Joe (Teresa) Estrada, Arthur (Erin) Estrada, John (Beth) Estrada; 34 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass for Maria will be held on Friday June 26, 2015 at 11 am at Saint Therese of Lisieux Parish of Lansing, 102 W. Randolph, Lansing MI 48906. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 25 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing, and one hour prior to the service at the church. A rosary will be prayed Thursday at 7 pm.
