Mary C. Earl Leweke

Born April 4, 1931; our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Mary C. Leweke died August 7, 2010 at the age of 79. She was a long-time member of Plymouth Congregational Church, a 28 year volunteer at Sparrow Hospital, and a member of Rose Standish Circle since 1952.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Leila M. and Robert C. Earl. She is survived by her loving husband, Allen Leweke; daughters, Cindy (Bill) Brawner, and Sandra (Mark) DeNoyelles; son, Richard (Sandy) Leweke; grandchildren, Christina, and Alan Swihart, Stephanie and Kelsey DeNoyelles, Laura, Lindsay, and Lisa Leweke; brother James (Joyce) Earl; a nephew, and many nieces and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Plymouth Congregational Church, 2001 E. Grand River Ave, Lansing with the Rev. David T. Bandfield, Associate Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing.
