Micah was born on April 9, 1983 in Lansing, the son of Michael James and Meta Jean (Kirtland) Bray. He attended Haslett High School, and ultimately graduated from American Schools in 2011.
Micah was adventurous. He lived life doing exactly what he wanted when he wanted. Micah loved snowboarding in the winter, and he loved hockey. Micah was a people person. He loved being surrounded by people. He was always projecting his light and warmth onto others. If you were around Micah, you were smiling just as big as he was. He would do anything to make others laugh. He was the light when it was dark.
A big part of Micah was music. He was always saying, "listen to this song!" when he found a good one. Sharing music is just one way that Micah showed his love. When it came to concerts, he would travel far and all summer long for artists and bands. He spent one summer following Billy Strings on tour. Another, he followed Grateful dead. And yet another, he followed Phish.
Micah's life is left to be celebrated by his parents, Michael and Meta Bray; sister, Meisha Janelle Bray, and his twin sister, Mara Janine Bray; many loving aunts and uncles; many loving cousins; and too many special friends to list.
Micah was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Marilyn Kirtland, and James and Mary Bray.
Micah lived his absolute best life. Live life like Micah. Live life with no regrets and always, always live life to its fullest. In his memory keep the music playing and the bonfires burning.
