

Of Lansing, MichiganAge 59, was called unexpectedly home on March 9, 2008. Michael was born August 5, 1948 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary and also a member of the 4th Degree of Knights of Columbus, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Council #10542. Michael was currently working for the Department of Transportation and had been an employee there for 38 years. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Judy A. Sibal; 2 sons, Matthew and Mark Sibal; mother, Stasia Sibal; brother, Thomas Sibal; 3 sisters, JoAnn Huprich, Virginia (Dennis) Barrett, Sharon Sibal; and several nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael Joseph Sibal. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 3815 S. Cedar, Lansing, Rev. John A. Byers presiding. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday at the church one hour prior to the mass. A vigil will be held 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home followed by the Knights of Columbus Bishop Albers Assembly 4th Degree Chalice Service.
