Lansing
Kay was born August 4, 1924 in Eureka, MI, and moved to Lansing with her husband to started her career in the early 1950's at Michigan Millers Insurance and Michigan National Bank. She bowled for over 50 years, and volunteered at St. Lawrence Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Kay loved working in her yard and having beautiful flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Ward; her parents, two sisters, brother, and many nieces, and nephews. She will be dearly missed by daughter, Linda (Al) Guthrie; grandson, Scott Foster; sister, Dorothy Parish; and dear friend Carol Parish. Kay's requested services be private.
