Minnie Evelyn Johnson Botke

Bath, MI

Born July 22, 1925 in Eaton Rapids, to Walter and Marguerite (Waters) Johnson, she went home to meet her savior October 6, 2011 at the age of 86. God blessed her with a full and rich life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and baking was her passion. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. She was preceded in death (1996) by her husband of 53 years, Robert. Surviving are her daughters, Barbara (David) Gibson, Debbie (Tom) Dean, Jeanie Jenson; sons, Robert (Lynn) Botke Jr., Charles (Linda) Botke, Larry (Jewel) Botke; grandchildren, Robbie, Rudy, Tymberlee, Chuck Jr., Brenda, Laura, Nicole and Emily; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Thornton; and sisters, Carol, Emma Jean, Etta Mae, and Joanna. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 10, 2011 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
