Nancy Yvonne Hale

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years John Hale in 2001, son Jack Hale, her parents, brother Elmer Pitchford and her sister Evelyn Pitchford.

Surviving are her children; Nancy (Mike) Blackburn, Dale (Sharon) Hale, Mickey (Char) Hale, Scott (Carol) Hale. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Donnalee Parks, Pauline Vanek, Sandra Pitchford, brother-in-law Joe (Stevie) DuWig, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many special friends.

Over the years, Nancy worked for W.T. Grants and the Lansing School District. She will be remembered for her sweet caring heart. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, reading (especially Danielle Steele), and spending time with family and friends.

Please join her family for Visitation on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, (900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912). Additional Visitation will begin at the Funeral Home on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM with a Memorial Service for Nancy beginning at 11:00 AM.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at The Willows of East Lansing, and McLaren Hospital for the care provided to Nancy.
