Nancy was born on August 17, 1936 to Frank and Hettie Byrd in Dearborn Michigan. Along with her four siblings, she grew up on the family farm that she often fondly reminisced about. She had many wonderful memories of her animals and the fun she had with her family.
On November 3, 1956, she married Robert Lee Weber. Together they were blessed with 65 years of marriage and six children. Mom devoted herself to her family, always putting everyone before herself. She loved spending time enjoying loud gatherings always with exorbitant amounts of food. No one ever left hungry! Mom enjoyed being involved in her children and grandchildren's lives and loved her long talks with them even as the family spread out across the country.
She was a kind, generous and forgiving person. Always reminding her children to forgive and "be the bigger person". She was the person who defended the "underdog" and tried to see the best in everyone. Above all else, she valued and loved her family and instilled these same values in her children.
Nancy loved her Lord and modeled her strong faith in God throughout her life.
Nancy was preceded in death by our father, Robert Lee Weber, Sr. She is survived by her six children: Robert L. Weber, Jr., Lawrence L. Weber, Mary C.
Domke, Nancy L. Peacock, Cynthia L. (David) Huckins and Kelly L. (Thomas) Cruce all whom she loved unconditionally. She also leaves behind her 13 adored grandchildren: Jon, Daniel, Lee, Robert, Elizabeth, Samantha, Amanda, Kendra, Evan, Austin, Madison, Connor and Riley, as well as her 11 great grandchildren.
Private memorial services will be held honoring our mother's life, as were her wishes. She will be deeply missed and treasured forever.
"A mother's love is a gift that never fades, but continues to nourish us even after she is gone."
