

Neil Trumble was born on May 23, 1927 in Lansing, the son of the late Raymond & Bernice Trumble, and passed away on February 3, 2016 at the age of 88. Neil was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He proudly served in the US Army and was a long time member of the Eagles Club and belonged to the American Legion. He was an avid bowler and a member of the USBC. Neil was a retired Union Carpenter, Local #1449 and was skilled at building houses. He was also a master craftsman and enjoyed making furniture. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife, Muriel. Surviving to cherish his memory are his children; Michelle (Harold) Hull, Jeffrey (Donna) Trumble, Steven (Vicki) Smith; brother, John L. Trumble; sister, Cleo-Rae Lavey. Neil championed for those that he loved, every day of his life. Dad’s life walk will always be a shining example and inspiration to the people who knew and loved him. A funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Gorsline Runciman East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI with Mr. Steven Smith officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 8th from 2:00 – 4:00p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
