Nicholas died in his home unexpectedly on May 21, 2017 from natural causes. He was born April 26 1978. He graduated from Waverly High School in 1996. In 2000, he graduated as a proud Spartan from Michigan State. He was a huge Spartan sports fan. Nick loved nature, his dog Cyprus and his Koi pond. Karaoke was another of his favorite past times along with hosting legendary pageant parties. Nick had a wonderful sense of humor and often used it to deal with his battle with Bipolar Disorder. Nick will be greatly missed by his many friends who stayed with him and supported him. A special thanks to Trish and Mark who stuck by Nick through the hard times. He is survived by his parents Jim and Judy Mulvaney, sister Maureen Van Glabbeek, her husband, Wim, and sons James and Matthew; aunts and uncles Mary and Dick Appelgreen, John and Jan Mulvaney and Brian and Kay Mulvaney and Ray Mulvaney. He was preceded in death by his sister Megan.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Thursday, May 25, 2017, with sharing of memories at 7:30 P.M. in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Private Family Services will be held. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Donations may be made in Nick's name to NAMI of Lansing, P.O.
