Norine A. Wisner

Lansing, Michigan

Age 95, passed away September 6, 2014; born March 5, 1919 to John and Edna (Crapo) Daniels. Norine was a resident of Lansing all her life and a member of South Church. She had been an employee of Sparrow Hospital for 15 years. Norine had been a foster mother to more than 20 children; and had worked in the cafeteria in the Lansing School District. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, fishing and helping to make quilts for Missions for South Church. Norine was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1972; son, Kenneth in 1982; daughter, Loah Jean Beck in 2007. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughters, Ruth Ann (Paul) Halstead, Diane (Bill) Price; son, Larry (Sally) Wisner; son-in-law, Norman Beck; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing, MI. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
