Norma Lucile Counseller, 96, died September 9, 2014 in Lansing, MI. She was born March 20, 1918 in Alma, MI to Henry and Leota (Wood) Lorenzen. Norma was a member of Judson Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and cooking. Norma volunteered with the scouts and her church. She had a deep love for her family, and will be greatly missed. Norma is preceded in death by her husband Norval; son Lynwood; and son-in-law Rod Fenn. Surviving are her daughter Susan Fenn; son Larry (Gwen) Counseller; daughter-in-law Delaine Counseller; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Judson Memorial Baptist Church, 530 Vernon, Lansing, MI 48910, officiated by the Rev. Zachary Bartels. Interment will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, MI immediately following. The family will receive friends Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
