Gladwin, Michigan
Aged 88, passed away on September 25, 2015. He was born on August 11, 1927 to Mary (Winkler) Wright and Dennis Wright. He played softball, slow pitch softball, and began golfing at age 65. He was an avid bowler and bowled in Lansing and the senior league in Gladwin. Orval enjoyed snowmobiling and riding motorcycles with his family every week. He belonged to the VFW for many years in Gladwin. Orval served in the Navy during World War II, and was an instructor in the reserves. He worked at Motor Wheel for over 38 years. Orval was preceded in death by his son Orval Wright Jr. (Jake), and is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Merceda J (Enghoffer) Wright, sisters Maxine Pelton and Eva Murphy, sister-in-law Shirley Oversmith, and many nieces and nephews.
