Patricia Kingery

Patricia Ann Kingery passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 in Lansing at the age of 69. She was born March 1, 1942 in Bellefountain, Ohio the daughter of Clayton and Mary (King) Staton. She married David Kingery and he preceded her in death in 1995. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa VanPatten in 2009, her parents and her sister and brother-in-law: Betty Lee (Dick) Dunn. She is survived by her son, David Kingery, 3 grandchildren, Samantha Vanpatten, Alexander VanPatten and Ty Kingery, son-in-law, Jeff VanPatten, brother, Gerald (Pauline) Staton and sister, Paula (George) Worden. Pat enjoyed spending time with friends and family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed vacationing, shopping (particularly on QVC and HSN), flea markets, garage sales and redecorating. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2011, at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 549 E. Mt. Hope, Lansing, MI with Reverend James R. Lichtenberger officiating. The family will receive friends at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing on Thursday, July 14th from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
