

Palmetto, FL Formerly of Lansing, MI On April 25, 2011 the angels stood behind his bed, guarding his every breath. Later, when his breath began to fade, with his wife by his side holding his hand the angels hovered above him, gently lifting his spirit into the heavenly hands of God. What a wonderful life he led. Paul was born in Grass Lake, MI on March 9, 1922, the son of William & Bernice Lycos. Paul was a Staff Sargent in the Army Air Core from 1942-1945 during WWII, at which time he was stationed in Europe as a fighter mechanic. He married the love of his life Mildred K. Prince on November 29, 1945 who survives him. In the next 65 years they shared many dreams and cherished their family and friends. Paul worked at Motor Wheel Corp. where he retired after 25 years as the personnel manager. He was an avid reader, Tiger fan, traveler, and loved to play cribbage. Paul is survived by his four children William (Carol) Lycos of Grand Ledge, MI, Paul (Linda) Lycos of Stuart, FL, Kathryn (Thomas) Lycos-Scott of Gloucester, VA, Garry Lycos, MI; nine grandchildren Paul, Jason, Aleatha, Alexandria, Pam, Stephanie, Zachary, Jamie, Jessica; and seven great grandchildren. Paul is preceded in death by his Parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing.
