Age 56, died March 7, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. She was born May 6, 1956. Penny retired from the Michigan National Guard in June 2012. She is survived by three children; Angela Hansen, Joseph Michaud, Brittney Michaud; 6 grandchildren, one on the way; 3 sisters, Marcia (John) Smith, Marilyn (Bob) Smith, Lynn Larkins; 2 brothers, Terry (Karen) O’Dell, Samuel O’Dell; one step-brother, David (Patti) Buck and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Rex (Sandra) O’Dell, and Shirley (John) Buck. Penny was deployed to Egypt in 2004. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, Michigan with interment to take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI on Thursday, at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
