Of Lansing, MichiganAge 80, went to be with her Lord on March 7, 2008. Born July 22, 1927 in Lansing, MI.
Phyllis was active in Boy Scouts of America movement for 20 years as advisor in Cub Scout activities. She was a member of the Barn Burner Square Dancers Club and a member of the Sunshine Club at Turtleback R.V. Resort in Lake Panasoffkee, FL.
Surviving are her son, Steve (Deanna) Aves of Eaton Rapids; daughter, Sherry L. (Ronald) Goff of Lansing; 5 grandchildren Brian (Joeva) Goff, Julie Geer, Matthew (Kelly) Aves, Mark Binkley, and Scott Binkley and 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Vivian Clark, and Mary Jane White, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Layton; son, Stan Aves; daughter Judy Kyes; and grandson, Wesley Geer.
Visitation will be from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Tuesday with services 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 12, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Pastor Dean R. Poellet of St. Matthew Lutheran Church officiating. Interment Delta Center Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the March of Dimes in memory of Phyllis.
