R. Murray

of Lansing, MichiganAge 83, was called home to the Lord on December 16, 2007. Born March 9, 1924 in Marion, Kentucky. R.E. was a veteran of WW II Serving with the U.S. Army. He retired from Lansing Fisher-Body after many years of service. He attended Millet Bible Church in Lansing and Faith Baptist Church in Greenville. He and his wife moved to Stanton in 1983, and R.E. spent his winters in Florida. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and reading his bible. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Eva. M. Murray, and his 7 sisters and brothers. Surviving are his daughters, Barbara (Bob) Adkins, and Carol (Dean) Newman; 3 grandchildren, Robert (Peggy) Adkins, Dana Adkins, and Christopher (Lisa) Newman; 4 great-grandchildren, Brianna & Brittney Adkins and Abigail & Amanda Newman; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday (Today) with services 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 22, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, with Rev. Suzanne A. Rasmussen officiating. Interment Deepdale Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Family Life Radio in memory of R.E.
