Randy was born on June 8, 1952, in McAllen, Texas, to Miguel Medina Sr. and Evangelina (Davalos) Medina. He later made Lansing, Michigan his home, where he graduated from Everett High School and built a life centered around faith, family, hard work, and helping others.
Randy proudly worked as a material handler for General Motors, retiring after 34 years of dedicated service. Following retirement, he continued working for another 10 years as a driver for Glenn Buege Chevrolet. He was also a proud member of UAW Local 602 and faithfully served as a deacon at South Riley Bible Church in DeWitt, Michigan.

Known affectionately as the “neighborhood dad,” Randy was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making people feel welcome. Above all else, his family was his world.
