Raymond Earl Zeman, age 82, of Haslett, Michigan passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. He was born on July 25, 1942, in Michigan City, Indiana to Jeraslov “Jerry” and Grace (Wren) Zeman. He was raised in New Buffalo, Michigan. This gave him a love for Lake Michigan that he would have for all of his life. Ray earned a business degree from Michigan State University. He began his as an auditor and an accountant. Then, transitioned to his career in the savings and loan industry. Ray enjoyed spending time on Lake Michigan and watching MSU sports, especially basketball. For many years, he lived in Northern Michigan where he spent time at Crystal Lake and Traverse City.
Raymond is survived by his three children, Joseph Zeman, Jeffrey Zeman, and Jennifer (Zeman) Stanfield; five grandchildren, and the mother of his children, Marsha (Zeman) Bohnett. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Donald Zeman and Kenneth Zeman.
In accordance with Ray’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
