Rena May Edwards

Lansing, Michigan

Died on June 1, 2013. She was born on August 15, 1916 in Greenville, MI the daughter of Charles and Pearl (Jamison) Hall. Rena married Theodore (Ted) Edwards on October 24, 1936. Rena was devoted to her family. She was supportive and willing to help in any way needed. She was also a very loyal friend. Rena will be remembered for her sense of humor, as well as her love for music, dancing, baking and shopping. She was an amazing woman.

Rena is survived by her daughters, Carol Pride, Patricia Linderman (Steve) and Peggy Parker. As well as her seven grandchildren, Tim Pride(Pam), Todd Pride(Mary), Monte Pride(Wendy), Stephanie Lamb(Brent), Dana Bartlett(Todd), Kami Thelen(Michael), John Deiter(Amy), fifteen great grandchildren and beloved cats, Bear and CeCe.

Rena was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Edwards, and three sons-in-law, Jerry Deiter, Richard Pride and Brian Parker.

A memorial service will be held for Rena at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 549 E. Mt. Hope Ave. on June 8, 2013 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation at 11:00 AM with lunch following the service.
