Reynaldo Castro Borrego

Reynaldo Castro Borrego, better known as “Rey” was introduced to this world in Denver Colorado on August 24 1965 by his dear loving parents Horacio and Petra Borrego. As proud Mexican American migrant workers, they resided in a small beautiful town of Blanca Colorado. In 1968 Haracio and Petra along with Reynaldo and his 10 siblings moved to Lansing Michigan and began establishing a beautiful home with a big family. Growing up in Lansing, rey developed his own unique character. Well respected by his community, he was known for his unique sense of style, his outlandish humor, and his down to earth humbleness. Rey had a passion for the out doors, if he wasn’t watching the nature channel on tv, he was working outside doing what he loved most, Landscaping. Reynaldo loved to work, and he was dedicated to providing for those he loved, he stood proud, knowing what he held true to his heart was the only thing that mattered to him, family. Rey loved his parents wholeheartedly, he loved his brothers and sisters dearly, always thinking about his sibling he would do his best to keep in touch with every one of them. he would boast about his nieces and nephews and never failed to express his love for them. He talked proudly about his five children and his 19 grandchildren. Reynaldo was all about his family, setting a great example of love and pride, he never failed to let his light shine amongst others especially during the dark. A visitation for Reynaldo will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. A visitation will occur Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. A visitation will occur Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cristo Rey Church, 201 W Miller Rd, Lansing, MI 48911. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cristo Rey Church, 201 W Miller Rd, Lansing, MI 48911.
