Richard Earl Fuller was born on June 17, 1934 in Eagle, the son of the late Merton and Verda (Olmstead) Fuller. At the age of 80, after suffering from cancer for four years, he died peacefully at home on February 16, 2015 to go to live with his Heavenly Father. Richard attended the Michigan School for the Deaf in Flint and graduated in 1953. He worked at a butcher shop in Holt. He then worked at General Motors on the assembly line and retired after 31 years. Richard was very outgoing and good natured and loved fishing, playing cards and travelling. He was a very spiritual man and was a member of Capitol City Baptist Church for 40 years. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Fuller. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Marilyn; two nephews, Ricky Everts and David Everts; one niece, Sue Ann Parks; several great nieces and nephews; and his brother, Raymond Fuller. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends from 5:00~8:00 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Richard to Eagle Nature Foundation, 300 E. Hickory St., Apple River, IL 61001 or Capitol City Baptist Church, 5100 E.
